Job in Trust Pharmacy:
Pharmacy Technician Job
Location: Yonkers, NY 10701
Salary : $20 – $25 an hour
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Responsibilities:
- Working with pharmacists to help prepare and dispense medication, including mixing, counting, measuring, and labeling medication;
- Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with applicable procedures, rules, and regulations;
- Maintaining records by filing doctor’s orders and prescriptions
- Assisting patients in person and on the phone by answering inquiries, calling doctors or insurance companies, and handling the register.
- Experience with pharmacy software
- Maintaining pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock regularly, and anticipating needed medications and supplies.
Qualification:
- Day Shift (Required)
- Work authorization (Required)
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Spanish (Preferred)
