About the role

Schuh Careers in United Kingdom, Our warehouse is big, like really big and it’s full of thousands of boxes but that doesn’t mean that it’s not well organised. As a Warehouse Assistant, you’re a key member of the team who ensures the business runs efficiently when it comes to all things stock related. You need to be a smart-thinking, focused individual who has a keen eye for detail and exceptional time keeping abilities. This job role is varied you’ll be dealing with deliveries on a large scale and will go from picking and packing shoes to scanning returns and processing customer orders, so accuracy and efficiency will need to be top of your traits. Being number driven is also a key factor to keep in mind, as the warehouse has its own targets to meet too.

* Please note that successful candidates must be available to work 3 pm – 7 pm, Monday – Friday (20 hours per week).

The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic, hard working individual who is keen to work in a fast paced environment and fit in to a tight and established team.

The applicant should have previous experience in a similar role or have good experience as an allocator ready to take the next step and be confident in the skills and knowledge gained to date.

The AM will report into the department merchandiser and look to develop and progress the department allocator. The applicant will be able to demonstrate an analytical eye with excellent attention to detail.

The AM will have a solid awareness of their department in order to maximise all sales potential. Looking to help the department work within the parameters of the OTB and be involved with forecasting product demand, assisting in buys and sizing of orders as well as working with many other colleagues both within and outwith the business.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing productivity/performance of our stock and provide insight to identify growth opportunities and increase sales
• Liaising with multiple stakeholders such as stores, suppliers and other colleagues within the business.
• Provide in-depth size analysis on brands/departments
• Weekly, monthly and ad hoc sales analysis and reporting
• Size orders to maximise sales potential based on historical performance
• Analyse performance and suggest any relevant cancellations
• Manage the flow of intake into the business according to intake capacities
• Propose new brand store lists and liaise with the relevant departments – Marketing/POS etc.
• Manage store capacities via RTW (stock transfers).
• Gain a SKU awareness for your department
• Get involved in starting to identify and prepare lines for the ‘sale’ events
• Assist and prepare information for new buys, providing all relevant information for the team in a timely manner
• Have a good awareness of your department’s performance down to brand/department level
• Have an awareness of the business and other departments at top line
• Look to establish and develop relationships with stores
• Participate and prepare information for store visits.
• Have the ability to prioritise and have a flexible and well organised approach to the workload and managing deadlines effectively

JOB TITLE:  Community Marketing ManagerRESPONSIBLE TO: Senior Brand Partnerships Manager

MAIN FUNCTION:

Schuh Careers in United Kingdom, Devise and execute the schuh Purpose strategy to support diversity, inclusion and equality within all brand facing communications and also all employee-facing touch points. Working to the guiding principle of education, charity partnerships and utilising the schuh platform for good. Work with the wider Marketing Team to activate Purpose marketing campaigns across all channels, along with key charity partners and also HR, to collaborate on internal and employee-facing touch points.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with the Senior Brand Partnerships Manager, Head of Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer to define the overall Purpose marketing strategy including framework, roadmap, ways of working and also KPIs/ measurements of success.

Deliver a strategic planning roadmap with specific strategic evolution milestones for Purpose inclusive of discovery and roll out phases, alongside a specific activation calendar that is employee and also brand facing.

Lead and coordinate all Purpose work streams across the business, including collating annual goals and KPIs, as well as management of feedback sessions with employees and wider communities.

Deliver an initial ongoing Purpose ‘discovery’ and ‘research’ of competitors and audit of the schuh landscape (internal and external channels), working with key stakeholders, third parties, charities (applicable to Purpose), brand partners and relevant Communities, with consideration of mapping key Purpose calendar moments.

Review opportunities to reflect Purpose in all customer facing facets of the business from product range, in store and onsite presentation, through to marketing – across all brand channels E.g gender neutral product range.

Work with HR Team to review Purpose opportunities to support employee engagement and reflect Purpose on all internal touch points.

Research and deliver sources for initial and regular/updated diversity training that will give a wider Purpose education to leadership teams and wider employees, delivering critical insights and support to empower/enhance Purpose vocabularies enabling individuals to communicate appropriately. With consideration of media training for relevant stakeholders.

Ensure the schuh Purpose positioning and identity are understood across the organisation and consistently executed across all channels. Communicating this confidently and clearly across all areas of the business.

Work closely with the Head of PR and PR Manager on Purpose related media communications.

Work closely with the Marketing Manager to feed the customer facing Purpose activations into Marketing Calendar reviewing data and making recommendations for activity, ensuring all key dates are up-to-date for category and channel activation.

Maintain strong rapport with other departments including wider Marketing, PR, VM, Ecommerce, CRM, Retail to ensure awareness of the Purpose strategy, providing content where required to share with third parties.

Working closely with the Purpose Team Leaders, Senior Brand Partnerships Manager and Head of Marketing to deliver an annual company impact report.

Produce campaign results decks to measure ROI and provide actionable insights as required.

Contribute to customer research projects and CRM strategy as required where Purpose is a focus.

Manage purpose budget with the Marketing Managers and Head of Marketing.

Be an Ambassador for schuh communicating our brand DNA confidently to third parties.

Ensure all activity with brands adheres to GDPR policies.

Work under own initiative and as part of the wider Team.

Understand and comply with the Company’s Health & Safety policy and procedures.

Carry out further reasonable duties as required by the Company.

This role is ideally based at our Livingston Head Office with a hybrid approach day-to-day. However, we do aim to be as flexible as possible and there is potential for this to be a remote role. We also have offices in London which this role can be based from, should this be more convenient for the successful applicant.
