Responsibilities:

  • Disassembly of aircraft Wheels
  • Dismount of aircraft tyres
  • Cleaning of aircraft wheels by operation of wheel wash equipment
  • Cleaning of aircraft wheel and brake small parts
  • Inspection of aircraft wheel small parts
  • Preassembly inspection and assembly of aircraft wheel hub
  • Mounting of aircraft tyre
  • Disassembly of aircraft brake housings and heat stacks
  • Pressure testing aircraft brake assemblies
  • Works accurately and efficiently on individual assignments or as an active team member. Performs job duties on various shifts in response to customer needs.

 

Requirements:

  • The desire to learn and contribute to a busy engineering team
  • Keen interest in all things mechanical
  • English and Math GCSE or equivalent
  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar highly desirable
  • Must have full UK Driving Licence
  • Self-motivated individuals who can work without direct supervision.

  • Good computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the UK General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of Ryanair’s 11 UK Engineering Line Stations and a team of 100+ Engineers and Supervisors. Daily duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Management of Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents/AOG’s and Third Party Liaison.
  • Manpower planning, recruitment and staff performance management.
  • Ensuring appropriate spares and equipment are available at each location.
  • Budgeting, invoicing and negotiation/management of contracts with external suppliers/companies
  • Conducting regular visits to bases across the UK and Northern Europe, ensuring staff welfare and regulatory compliance.
  • Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports and Non-Compliances, implementing strategies to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

We are looking for a motivated self-starter with managerial experience who is ready, willing and able to manage technical teams in a diverse and fast-changing environment. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent time management, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and effectively communicate progress to Senior Management.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership experience, capable of remotely managing diverse teams.
  • Previous experience in Aviation or Engineering is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Lead Digitisation and maintenance of Engineering Competence Assessment framework
  • Ensure all Competency assessments are completed on time to the required standard
  • Manage issuance of Engineering Authorisations
  • Liaise with Engineering Organisation to confirm output standards from training courses are acceptable and feedback improvement needs to the Training delivery team
  • Ensure all Training Programmes are delivered to the required regulatory standards
  • Review and validate training courses and courseware
  • Support development of Training department staff
  • Support development of Training facilities
  • Support development of training programme accreditations and approvals
  • Oversight of NAA and QA findings closure, ensuring Root Cause Analysis is completed and fit for purpose solutions (Corrective & Preventative Actions) implemented.

Requirements

We are looking for someone to join our team that has experience in working in aircraft engineering. We want the successful candidate to be keen to learn, provide new ideas to the training team and interact openly to the wider network. You must also be a great communicator as you will be working with different nationalities, diversities and ages! We are looking for someone to join the team who is meticulous and has a good attitude!   • Degree or appropriate qualification in aircraft engineering/quality assurance/compliance monitoring
  • Previous experience in a quality or compliance role

  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365, and keen to learn new programs/software tools to enhance working ways

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of basic on boarding training
  • Responsible for liaising with technical instructors to understand key improvements in training delivery, technological improvements, personnel/character building or any other applicable development needed within training programs
  • Responsible for course formatting and creation (non-technical training only)
  • Responsible for reviewing all non-technical course lesson plans and documents relevant to the course
  • Deliver soft skills courses to staff to help them improve their interpersonal skills
  • Responsible for authoring and creation of interactive eLearning courses that engage and involve users.
  • Create necessary, high quality material for training purposes
  • Monitor the effectiveness of learning materials and update them when necessary
  • Assess the strengths and development areas of participants and customise training as needed
  • Analyse the gaps in soft skills among the staff and proactively suggest ideas for new training
  • Work together with approved soft skills instructors to discuss existing training and analyse the need for new training
  • Develop assessment materials and cooperate with management, team and other instructors to help improve the working processes and environment within Engineering Training
  • Ensure course materials are provided to the students
  • Ensure paperwork is uploaded to the Engineering Standards Helpdesk
  • Responsible for carrying out assessments on other instructors if they are approved to do so
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to build and deliver effective training programmes to meet the above-mentioned training requirements
  • Clear communication (written & oral) and presentation skills
