Requirements :
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Completion of job-related associates degree (AA) preferred.
Experience:
Four years related experience, or an equivalent combination of position-related education and experience required.
Completion of job-related apprenticeship program preferred.
Advanced job-related training programs preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
Current valid driver’s license required.
Certificates needed for this position as required by law required.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity and be physically capable of strenuous activity over extended periods of time.
Lift and move loads appropriate to job requirements and bend and work in a kneeling position for periods of time.
Climb stairs and ladders, working at heights as required. Enter and work within tight spaces, and withstand hot and cold temperatures.
Pay Range:
$39.65 per hour.

Required Education, Skills, Training and Experience
Civil, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (5+ years of Work experience)
Prefer: SoCalGas/SDG&E/PG&E/Southwest Gas project experience.
Knowledge of CFR 49 Parts 192 and 195 and ASME/ANSI B31.4 and B31.8 codes and regulations is required.
General understanding of utility design and construction.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Must be adaptable and flexible.
