This role has continuous communication with the in-room dining servers on amenity coordination and all deliveries. The interaction between Order Takers and guests can determine the overall satisfaction of the in-room dining experience.

Summary
The Sales Manager is a fully competent individual who has experience in selling and servicing events along with general understanding of hotel operations. Primary sales efforts include local social events including weddings, group rooms, banquet food and beverage, and venue rental. Responsibilities include prospecting for new business, selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer’s groups and events, menu planning, managing accounts, conducting creative site inspections, prospecting and generating new business and building loyalty. This manager has an assigned quota and is accountable for exceeding that quota.
Responsibilities also include preparing effective proposals (Word and PowerPoint formats); maintaining well-organized documentation and reports; customer presentations; contract review; and facilitating communication before, during and post event with customers and hotel staff to ensure a high level of service. The Sales Manager will also participate in tentative review, daily business review, direct report one-on-ones, department meetings, and other staff meetings. The Sales Manager works as a team member with the Sales, Events and the Operational staff and in close contact with other support staff.
