About Career:
The AVP Customer Sales and Acquisition, OnStar Insurance (OSI) is responsible for leading the marketing sales function that aims to bring OnStar Insurance messages to existing GM/GM Financial customers and customers in the process of purchasing a new GM vehicle. They will lead engagement activities largely focused on internal channels and supported with external efforts where appropriate. This highly collaborative role will work across the GM enterprise to strategically position OSI messages to drive volume and quality of auto insurance quote starts. This role will leverage customer behavior data and data analytics methodologies to manage and oversee continuous improvement of the OSI sales experience to existing GM customers. Accountable for designing and achieving strategic and operational plans to build customer sales and satisfaction. Leads the team to execute sales strategies in collaboration with service, acquisition, and other key stakeholders.
Qualification Required:
- Experience with strategic planning and analysis
- Financial acumen to be able to analyze and understand the financial implications of business strategies
- Ability to partner across the business and development teams to identify growth opportunities and build integrated marketing plans that capitalize on them
- Knowledge of CRM best practices in customer segmentation, audience building, personalization and measurement to drive performance
- Experience building relationships and communicating effectively with senior leadership Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions, and managing work to achieve strategic goals
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with digital and traditional marketing platforms and experience with insurance sales and service lines of business is a plus
- Knowledge of customer service and call center metrics, call flows, quality metrics and measurement to drive performance is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for OnStar Insurance quote starts from existing GM/GM Financial customers and customers in the process of purchasing a new GM vehicle
- Partner with GM and GM Financial to develop and design marketing campaign offers to existing GM customers to support product launches and messaging, which includes utilizing internal GM / GM Financial marketing channels to help drive awareness, leads, and ultimately influences customers to start an auto insurance quote
- Collaborate with GM & GM Financial brand analytic teams to measure and deliver detailed campaign performance reporting to OSI leadership and adjust campaigns accordingly to ensure success
- Build and oversee a team of leaders and employees for assigned functional areas through ongoing execution of recruiting, coaching and performance management
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
- Partner with OnStar Insurance State & Product Management, IT, Finance, and Marketing teams to execute business strategies and provide reporting and recommendations to drive engagements that lead incremental quote starts from existing GM customers
- Work closely with OSI Business Intelligence Analytics team to fully understand, translate and apply key insights to then develop KPIs to measure success and recommend changes for continual improvements
- Provide data-driven insights and direction for potential consumer outreach or service needs
- Provide recommendations and input in the development and use of process and journey maps
- Present and deliver detailed KPI performance reporting to leadership and adjust strategy accordingly to ensure success
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices
