Payment Operations Manager

Location : Jersey City, NJ, Hybrid remote
Estimated salary: $93K – $119K
Qualification:
- Minimum of 5 years of Payment and Support experience in Daily Fantasy Sports or related online gaming, sports betting/e-commerce fields preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred
- Direct experience managing multi-tiered teams and the desire to help others learn and grow
- Proficient understanding online Payment options and categories as well as knowledge of common issues in the space
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Deep understanding of the entire chargeback workflow
- Strong analytical ability; SQL proficiency preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels across multiple business units.
- Passion for sports and/or gaming industry a plus
Requirements:
- Manage a core group of supervisors and associates across multiple locations in overseeing the day-to-day Payment support and reconciliation operations.
- Work closely with senior leadership to establish team strategies and goals to be cascaded down to the broader team.
- Create and deploy processes that assist in automating Payment support and reconciliation
- Drive the monthly Payment forum to report on overall key performance indicators within the support and prevention operations.
- Translate complex topics into compelling narratives for various audiences
- Take calculated risks and challenge current practices to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet or exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with necessary stakeholders, subject matter experts, and decision makers to develop data- driven policies, processes, and reporting to continuously improve operational performance
- Perform due diligence, build business cases, and provide recommendations to senior leadership on potential vendors and third-party tools
- Oversee team productivity and provide continuous constructive feedback and coaching
- Recruit, hire, develop and retain candidates who raise the performance bar of the Payment Operations team.

About Career:
Fanduel Careers, The Payment Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team of supervisors and associates and plays a key role in managing Payment Operations across the FanDuel Group brands. The Payment Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day Payment support and reconciliation operations and assists the Customer Finance Director shape the way our organization thinks about and manages Payments across the platform. This role requires a proficient understanding of existing and emerging Payment options, operational support, and reconciliation tasks within Daily Fantasy Sports, online gaming or related industries. Payment Operations Managers must pass required licensing as mandated by various state gaming and racing regulatory bodies. Failure to be licensed or retain licensure will result in termination of employment. This position reports into the Customer Finance Director.
