Salary: $16 – $20 an hour
Requirement:
Busy Suffolk County L.I. Ophthalmology practice seeking experienced front desk receptionist
This individual is responsible for greeting all patients and registering patient demographics into system.
Minimum 2 year experience at front desk
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Empathetic personality giving attention to patients needs and concerns
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Respectful treatment of patients
- Knowledge of medical insurances
- Cancel and reschedule appointments as necessary; follow-up on no shows
- Recall patients as indicated by the physicians’ recommendation
