Requirements:
- Edit various creative and promotional video content, both long form and short form
- Collaborate and communicate with the Post-Production Manager and Director of Production in editing sessions to implement creative notes
- Creatively support and emphasize subject matter in videos through compelling editing and storytelling
- Create project templates
- Create assembly edits, string-outs, and finishing edits with precision
- Edit in various digital-video formats
- Convert, transcode, and compress media for post-production workflow
- Deliver high-quality material on time, on budget, and in an efficient manner
- Organize and archive footage and deliverables
- Communicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors
- Complete and submit daily project logs in accordance with Daily Wire project log policy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification :
- Nashville, TN -based position (working remotely is not an option)
- 2+ years previous professional video editing experience required
- Working knowledge of video production
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop
- Knowledge of digital media including codec, image types, resolutions, and frame rates
- Knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics (preferred but not required)
- Strong visual sensibility and pacing
- Ability to maintain multiple ongoing projects at once
- Ability to apply notes given from management
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes a healthy work environment
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Assembly and Editorial experience
- Audio Mixing experience (preferred but not required)
- Color Correction experience (preferred but not required)
- G Suite proficiency

The Daily Wire is looking for an experienced and professional Video Editor to join our Post-Production department in Nashville, TN! The Video Editor will take raw video footage from various Daily Wire production projects and use his or her editing skills, creative intuition, and application of Daily Wire editing standards to fulfill the creative vision of the Daily Wire Production leadership team. Audio Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Edit, mix, design, create, and record sound for Daily Wire podcasts and other projects
- Recording audio and using “DeScript” on daily basis.
- Enhance sound quality of content for online listening and viewing platforms and occasionally auditorium events
- Design soundscapes and sound bites across multiple shows that have varying styles
- Skillfully layer sound effects
- Creatively solve obstacles through sound mixing
- Emphasize the dramatic and storytelling power through audio content
- Build live event mixes with multiple microphone sources and types (speaker lavs, audience shotguns, etc.) as well as playback content and graphics
- Coordinate with other in-house Audio Engineers and support the Audio department in the set-up and operation of sound equipment in live events and in post-production
- Collaborate with day-player / 3rd-party audio mixers in occasional live show broadcasts as well as remote live events
- Collaborate with lighting, camera, and production crew to optimize audio recording setup
- Maintain and improve sound libraries
- Resolve technical issues with audio gear as they arise
- Research and implement the latest software updates and audio equipment improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification Required:
- Nashville, TN-based position (working remotely is not an option)
- 2+ years’ previous professional sound mixing and recording experience required
- Post-Production mixing is a big plus
- Knowledgeable about and experienced with complex sound equipment including: soundboards, equalizers, microphones, recording equipment, mixing consoles and editing software
- Technical expertise in sound engineering techniques (e.g. equalization, compressions, filters and plug ins, room treatment, microphone placement, noise reduction, etc.)
- Proficient in Pro Tools and knowledgeable in Adobe Suite
- Capable of working well under pressure
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Degree in audio/sound engineering or related field a plus
- Music production and/or radio broadcasting experience a plus

Responsibilities:
- Build scalable, unit-testable solutions for our (1) streaming platform (based in web, mobile, Apple TV, and Roku environments), (2) E-Commerce store, and (3) news website.
- Champion culture of good security, coding standards, architecture patterns, resiliency, and documentation practices
- Work across all phases of the software development lifecycle—planning, design, implementation, deployment, operations, and support
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with all associates and business contacts and promote a strong sense of teamwork
- Update management team on overall project, risks, and technology issues and propose suitable alternatives
Qualification:
- 3+ years of professional non-internship experience with front end, web or mobile software development using HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and Next.js

Preferred Qualification:
