Salary : $17 an hour
Job Type : Full-time
Qualification:
- Good communication skills in English, and ability to read and write in English
- Ability to solve practical problems, analyze processes for improvements, and use of basic math and timekeeping
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities at one time using effective organizational skills and judgment in an environment of frequently changing circumstances.
- Ability to work in Temperature controlled environment of 65-68 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud. Hearing protection required in manufacturing areas.
Preferred Qualification:
- Food Industry experience: fast food, café/restaurant, bakery, etc.
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Operation of forklift, pallet jack, and high reach man lift
- Familiarity of GMPs, Food Safety and HACCP practices
Responsibilities:
- Follow all Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Keep work areas and equipment clean and safe
- Participate in weekly sanitation and master sanitation schedules
- Assist Sheeting Lead Operators with dough sheeting and molding
- Assist Packaging Operators with operation of equipment: stick sorter/counter, box maker, box liner, check weight, case sealer, metal detector, case coder, and palletizer
- Follow production schedule; read and follow formulas; enter data into program and on paper
- Perform duties with speed and precision while maintaining a high regard for workplace safety
- Trained in the fundamentals of food safety, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Follow food safety and food defense practices daily; use reporting standards for any failures or exceptions to processes and/or food quality
- Perform other duties as needed in accordance with the organization’s policies and regulations.

Bakery Production Workers are responsible for following all equipment standard operating procedures (SOPs) within dough processing work area. Work safely and effectively in mixing, sheeting, freezing, and packaging departments. May perform multiple job functions through the course of a scheduled shift.
